FORMER CHAUNCEY SCHOOL located at 31, 33, and 35 Sycamore Street, CHAUNCEY, ATHENS COUNTY, OHIO.
The Athens County Port Authority and environmental consultant Tetra Tech are holding a mandatory project bid walkthrough on January 18, 2023 at 10:00 am for interested BIDDERS. BIDDERS proposals shall be submitted by email to Tetra Tech matthew.wagner@tetratech.com and Athens County Port Authority admin@athenscountyohedc.com by 5:00 pm Eastern Time on Friday, January 27, 2023.
Project remedial activities are anticipated to begin by February 15, 2023 with a projected project completion deadline of April 30, 2023. Subcontractor award selection is anticipated to be made in February 2023.
The Scope of Work for this project involves asbestos abatement, hazardous materials removal, and building demolition. Asbestos containing materials, hazardous waste, brick, and concrete debris should be properly disposed of off-property in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
