Industrial Park Spec Buildings
The Bill Theisen Industrial Park west of The Plains offers excellent expansion opportunities to new and growing companies in Athens County. Within the Industrial Park, the Athens County Port Authority owns parcels P010010000118 and P010010000119. The Port Authority is working with the engineering firm of Burgess & Niple, Inc. to construct on these parcels a 60,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and a smaller biomedical and office facility to accommodate companies graduating from the Ohio University Innovation Center.
Anticipated construction of the manufacturing facility to begin summer 2022 and to be completed summer 2023.
