Kate Perani

Kate Perani is the Project Specialist at the Athens County Economic Development Council where she works with Athens County businesses, leaders, and the workforce to deliver economic development initiatives. Prior to this role, Ms. Perani worked with the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, and the Perry County Farmers Market, amongst other roles. She joins ACEDC following the completion of her Master of Public Administration program at the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs. Prior to that, she completed her bachelor’s degree at the Ohio State University in Public Affairs and Leadership from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Ms. Perani has an extensive background in rural economic development and is excited to bring that experience to this position. Ms. Perani has been a lifelong resident of Appalachian Ohio where she resides in Perry County with her fiancé. In her spare time, Ms. Perani enjoys spending time with her fiancé, spending time with family and friends, cooking, riding their motorcycle, and enjoying the beautiful nature of Appalachian Ohio.
