Fiber Optic Technician Training Offered at Tri-County
This 40 hour course will begin on May 26, 2021 and will be held Wednesday and Thursdays from 6:00-9:00pm. The course fee is $900 and this includes equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and a tool kit.

In this course, students can expect to learn:
- Fiber optic cable components and standards
- Proper installation and termination of fiber optic cable
- Learn the operation of power meters and light source testing
- Proper testing and tracing analysis
- Mechanical splicing of fiber
- Fusion splicing of fiber
- Advanced fiber theory
