NEW!!! Help for Companies Impacted by Foreign Competition

Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAAF) is the only federal program specifically designed to help American manufacturers that have been hurt by foreign competition. Firms can qualify for up to $75,000 of matching funds to implement critical business improvements. The Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (GLTAAC) administers the program in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. GLTAAC strongly encourages manufacturers to call us for a quick discussion about their specific situation. In general, to qualify for TAAF, a manufacturer must be experiencing declines in sales and employment, as well as losing business to imports. Contact Jani Hatchett  at 734-998-6227 or gltaac@umich.edu, or visit www.gltaac.org to learn more.
